About the Role

The Ministry of the Attorney General is currently recruiting for freelance court interpreters in the languages of Cebuano, Tagalog and Ilocano .

If the following are applicable to you, please consider applying to become a freelance court interpreter with the Ministry of the Attorney General:

Seeking a new and flexible career;
Has full proficiency in English and another language;
Have some interpretation experience;
Want to assist members of their community in a court setting.

The ministry provides court interpretation services in over 80 spoken and signed languages for criminal, child protection, civil, family and Small Claims Court matters. Most of these services are provided by freelance court interpreters, for whom CIU administers an accreditation program.
