Personal Support Worker Needed!

Are you a compassionate, kind, and cheerful individual with prior experience in a long-term care setting? We are seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in transporting my 86-year-old father throughout the third and main floors of our facility.

  • Support with mealtime and engage in friendly conversations.

  • Display patience and kindness, as our father resides in a new long-term care home located in the Finch and 400 highway area.

  • Perform laundry duties in our state-of-the-art laundry room on the third floor (each floor has its laundry facilities).

  • Candidates with knowledge of Italian or familiarity with Italian phrases will be preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, from noon to 6:00 pm.

  • You'll be working with a delightful and respectful 84-year-old man.

  • Your work will be on the same floor where my mother resides in a separate room. While my mother is self-sufficient and doesn't require personal assistance, the PSW role will help alleviate some of her caregiving responsibilities.

We offer a competitive hourly rate and provide a clean and respectful working environment. If you're committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our residents, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
