Personal Support Worker Needed!
Are you a compassionate, kind, and cheerful individual with prior experience in a long-term care setting? We are seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team.
Assist in transporting my 86-year-old father throughout the third and main floors of our facility.
Support with mealtime and engage in friendly conversations.
Display patience and kindness, as our father resides in a new long-term care home located in the Finch and 400 highway area.
Perform laundry duties in our state-of-the-art laundry room on the third floor (each floor has its laundry facilities).
Candidates with knowledge of Italian or familiarity with Italian phrases will be preferred.
Monday to Friday, from noon to 6:00 pm.
You'll be working with a delightful and respectful 84-year-old man.
Your work will be on the same floor where my mother resides in a separate room. While my mother is self-sufficient and doesn't require personal assistance, the PSW role will help alleviate some of her caregiving responsibilities.
We offer a competitive hourly rate and provide a clean and respectful working environment. If you're committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our residents, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
