President's Note 

Mary Ann San Juan, the current President & CEO of Filipino Centre Toronto, has served in this role since 2017 and is currently serving her historic third term. Also one of the founding members of FCT, she served as Secretary to the Board of Directors from 2000 to 2016. 

As a member of the Board of Directors, Mary Ann played an instrumental role in the establishment of the Homework Club in 2003. In 2015, she coordinated the Mentoring Partnership with the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC). She also chaired the Outstanding Student Awards from 2015 to 2016.

During her presidency she has established and maintained successful programming, outreach, and community involvement. 

Her continued commitment to community and the betterment of others has been recognized by many politicians and dignataries.
