Annual Events

Pistahan sa Toronto

Formerly known as Bayanihan, this annual event commemorates Philippine Independence Day, and showcases our cultural heritage. Pistahan has become ever so popular with our kababayans, as it not only reminds us of the sacrifices of our forefathers to obtain the freedom that we sometimes take for granted, but it has also made us proud to be Filipinos, even for a day. Approximately 6,000 people attend this two-day event to learn more about Filipino culture and heritage, and to promote local Filipino businesses.
