Youth Meetup

Through this event, The Filipino Centre Toronto aims to:

• Start up a discussion and connection with the Filipino youth community (both youth groups and individuals) of Toronto

• Begin youth outreach/networking for further collaboration between the FCT and youth in the near future

This fun evening event is aimed at Filipino youth in Toronto. It will be held on August 5th, 2022, from 5:30-8:30 pm at The FCT (4395 Sheppard Ave E). We are looking for both youth groups and individuals to take part in all aspects of the event -- icebreakers, discussions, and of course, refreshments!

• Icebreakers - Getting to know each other through games and entertainment

• Discussions - Finding common ground through heritage and future aspirations. Our discussions will take up the bulk of the event, and are prime time to address youth issues and ideas

• Refreshments - Sharing meals and making memories

We want to use this evening to highlight Filipino youth groups in Toronto! These youth groups will get to have a table and space to promote their group to attendees of the event. To register, a representative of the group is encouraged to fill out this form: https://forms.gle/zV3f87UMJRFiaoLR6
