Responsibilities

 NO positions available

  • This is a PAID POSITION recruiting for 1 Adult program and 3 Child programs

  • Will be leading the program

  • Review lesson plans with Program Coordinators before first day of class​

  • Reflect on lesson plans with Program Coordinators at the end of the season 

  • Prepare and organize program equipment and supplies, maintain an inventory of supplies, report to the Program Coordinator/Recreation Supervisor any items needing replacement

  • Meets with parents (if needed) prior to, or after class time

  • Mentors program assistants as required 

  • Advises Program Coordinator/Recreation Supervisor of any customer service issues, complaints or inquiries

  • Ensures safety at ALL times, enforcing safety regulations as set out by the FCT policies and procedures

  • Adheres to the principles of Healthy Child Development (children ages 6 to 12 years)  

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old, who obtained a secondary diploma

  • Currently completing or completed post-secondary in Social Sciences, Humanities, Community Services, Recreation & Leisure, Health, Education/Teaching

  • Experience working or volunteering in customer services & with a community

  • Ability to work independently or in a team 

  • Willingness to research activities for programs & create lesson plans

  • Ability to complete recommended/required training

  • Portray enthusiasm, passion and commitment to FCT mission and objectives
