Tax season is upon us once again; you know what that means. Time to gather all your receipts and pay slips. Luckily, the Association of Filipino Canadian Accountants have volunteered to host a one-day free income tax clinic March 28 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM for the following income thresholds:
Single Tax Payer- Equal or below $35,000
Couple/ Married Tax Payers- Equal or Below $45,000
Please pre-register by emailing FCT, so as we could provide you with the required forms. Ideally, these forms are to be filled out prior to the day of the Income Tax Clinic. Salamat po!

An Urgent Appeal To Our Fellow Kababayans!You must be aware by now of the recent disastrous eruption of Taal Volcano in Batangas, Philippines. True to our traditional Bayanihan Spirit, “Project Damayan” was launched into action.
“Project Damayan” is a humanitarian outreach initiative whose aim is to extend relief assistance to targeted Kababayans who were victims of the volcanic calamity in the surrounding towns and villages. Thus, we are appealing for your benevolent gesture and kind donations for this project. This is a joint effort between the Filipino Centre Toronto-FCT in cooperation with other concerned community organizations. All cash contributions received will be endorsed directly to ABS-CBN Foundation-Philippines whose Sagip Kapamilya Program will directly help those affected families, including the elderly, the children and other residents.
